Overview

Sparring Room provides professional conversation practice and communication feedback. The app is designed as an anonymous-first experience for V1.

Information We Process

Sparring Room may process session inputs, selected scenarios, difficulty, counterpart settings, and review scores to generate AI pushback, after-action reviews, weekly drills, and progress summaries.

Do not enter confidential employer information, trade secrets, regulated data, or sensitive personal information into practice sessions.

Local Storage

V1 stores completed sessions, review reports, scores, weekly drill history, and progress snapshots locally on your device using Apple platform storage.

Voice Privacy

Sparring Room is designed to minimize voice data collection. Speech recognition and delivery telemetry are processed on-device. To generate AI simulations and performance reviews, Sparring Room sends transcript text and derived communication signals (such as pacing, pauses, and filler counts), not raw audio recordings.

AI Processing

When the AI backend is available, session inputs may be sent to Sparring Room's backend to generate simulation responses and reviews. The backend keeps provider API keys off the device.

Analytics

Sparring Room may collect anonymous product events such as app opens, scenario selections, session starts, session completions, paywall views, purchases, and restore attempts. We do not intentionally send conversation transcripts, voice audio, user-entered goals, AI response text, or relationship details as analytics events.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment information, subscription billing, and purchase restoration.
